Nothing to arm. Nothing to route. Every pad is playable the moment the app opens, and stays playable while you edit, mix and arrange around it.

RXB Workstation is a pad-first production and mixing workstation. Four sample layers per pad, a 32-step grid with per-step velocity, pan, probability and ratchet, and a mixer with real bus structure underneath it.

Draw a pattern, hear it change

A mixer with buses that mean something

— Per-pad bus assignment, so the drums fader actually moves the drums

— LUFS metering (momentary, short-term, integrated) and true peak

— Spectrum analyser and master gain-reduction metering

— Three-band parametric EQ per pad, and on the keygroup bus

— Sidechain compression with a selectable source pad, depth, attack and release

Eight backing-track lanes

— A multi-lane DAW view for stems and backing tracks, sharing one timeline with your song sections

— Per-lane volume, pan, mute, solo and clip trimming

— Import WAV, AIFF, MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG and WMA up to 256 MB

— Lanes stay locked to the arrangement as it plays

Chop without destroying

— Slice markers placed by hand, automatically, or at equal divisions

— Commit chops straight to pads

— Time-stretch with a pitch-preserving mode, or repitch

— Every operation is non-destructive against the source file

Build the song, then play the song

— Song mode arranges scenes into sections with bar counts and half-bar granularity, for turnarounds and pickups

— Per-section bank and tempo overrides

— A clip launcher for triggering scenes live, quantised to the bar

— Export the whole arrangement to WAV or MP3 as a real-time bounce

And it runs the lights

— Art-Net DMX output over your local network

— Master dimmer, beat sync and eight lighting scenes

— Driven from the same transport as the music

Made to be owned

— Runs fully offline. No account, no subscription, no internet connection required at any point

— Projects are folders on your disk, and Collect + Save bundles every sample dependency into a portable project

— Automatic backup on every save, keeping the last three versions

— The factory sound library was synthesised by RXB’s own audio engine. It is first-party content, and the licence grants you commercial use of whatever you make with it

System requirements

— Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit

— 4 GB RAM minimum, 8 GB recommended, 16 GB for heavy sessions

— Any Windows-compatible audio output; a dedicated interface lowers latency

— Set the Windows display scale to 100% so the workspace fills the screen

Latency and voice count depend on your hardware and audio stack, so results vary between machines.
