Learn the desk, then take the risk

Practice long, short, closing a position, and leverage at your own pace in a guided Practice Desk. Slow the live tape to 0.5x or freeze the clock to study the chart and your tools. The Quant’s passive foresight now shows its stated six ticks instead of twice that range. Each run ends with a clear target-and-equity debrief and a direct retry with the same strategy.

Review the tape

After every closing bell the desk replays your day: the whole session’s candles, every entry and exit you made, the day’s best move, and a Desk Note that names what decided it — a margin call, a winner given back, a trend you fought, or fees that ate the gains. Your fills mark the live chart as you trade, and the results screen turns a lost run’s clearest lesson into your next thing to try.

Market Research

An optional Market Research panel under Desk & Settings on the title menu opens supported U.S. tickers in Google Finance through Steam Overlay, or your system browser outside Steam. It uses a limited local reference table for selected Nasdaq and NYSE listings. No Google Finance prices or market data appear in the game.

The title menu now keeps play choices and the learning shortcut up front. Research, Trophy Room, leaderboard, career records, controls and settings live together in Desk & Settings.
