Track lives, deaths, attempts, or any custom event in your playthrough. Configure countdowns and count-ups, trigger automatic "Game Over" modes, automate resets with cooldown timers, and much more. Give your challenges the visual impact they deserve by customizing text colors or using your own image as an icon. It also features screen color flashes and sound effects every time the value changes.

🎙️ INPUT DEVICE MODULE

Use your microphone as an interactive trigger in real time. This module detects volume levels and screams to execute automatic actions across other modules. Did a horror game jump scare make you scream? Laughed too hard during a "try not to laugh" challenge? The system will detect it and link it to other modules automatically.

Track time with absolute precision using an interactive countdown or stopwatch. Set up custom sessions (like the Pomodoro technique to organize your gaming or study hours) and automate behavior by syncing it with other modules. Includes an advanced system for automatic penalties, cross-module events, and customizable visual and sound effects.

💬 CHAT COMMANDS MODULE

Connect your gaming environment with your community. Manage stream commands directly for your chat and set up automatic triggers. Allow your viewers to interact directly by modifying counters, triggering penalties, executing visual and sound effects, or activating a customizable black screen on your overlay in real time.

🎵 SOUNDS MODULE

Design the perfect soundscape for your games. Manage custom playlists with two advanced systems: interval sounds to play effects randomly every few minutes, and background sounds for music or ambient audio. Includes volume normalization, loop mode, and shuffle options to control your immersion.

QUICK ACTIONS & GLOBAL HOTKEYS

EventBox features a Quick Actions sidebar that allows you to hide, show, or reset overlays, pause master audio, add or subtract counter values, toggle device detection with a single click, and much more. Additionally, you can configure Global Hotkeys for your keyboard and mouse or use the Stream Deck plugin to control all the quick actions without ever leaving your game.

PERFORMANCE

Enjoy your favorite games smoothly without stuttering or frame drops. EventBox is highly optimized to keep resource consumption at an absolute minimum:

• GPU acceleration: Option to disable hardware acceleration to ensure widgets glide smoothly using your CPU if your graphics card struggles with demanding games.

• FPS limiter: Choose 60 FPS for smooth performance or 30 FPS to reduce CPU/GPU load if you experience performance drops.

• Display compatibility: Multi-monitor support with automatic position and size saving. Works flawlessly when running your games in ‘Windowed’ or ‘Borderless Fullscreen’ mode.

PRIVACY

EventBox has been built under a strict local-storage policy:

• 100% local processing: All data is processed exclusively on your computer; the software does not collect or send personal data or credentials to external servers.

• Secure microphone: The input device module only measures volume in real time to trigger events; it never records or saves any audio.

• Read-only chat: The chat integration connects in read-only mode to the streaming platform solely to detect your enabled commands.

• Local connections: The Stream Deck integration utilizes a local offline localhost server to handle button actions safely.

• Your data is yours: All your settings, custom challenges, and error logs are stored exclusively in local files within your user directory.
