Backrooms Media

Embark on an otherworldly adventure with Backrooms Media, a multiplayer co-op game that plunges you into surreal, hyper-realistic liminal spaces where the line between dream and reality blurs. In the 1.0 release, you don’t just survive – you fight back.

Immerse yourself in a non-linear path through nightmarish levels.

• Survive the extreme heat and cold of the Bunker, navigate the deadly radiation of the Dark Woods, solve the puzzles of the deceptive Pink Labyrinth, and explore the revamped Parking Lot and Deep Level 0.

• Find notes scattered throughout the levels to uncover the tragic fate of the previous expedition.

• Face off against distinct entities including the revamped Bacteria, the terrifying Smiler, and the watchful Kitty.

In the eerie silence of the Backrooms, panic is your enemy. You will encounter surreal landscapes that defy explanation. Maintain your nerve as you traverse these liminal spaces. Stay calm and watch for subtle changes in the environment or the behavior of entities. Rushing blindly will only lead to your demise.

Turn the tables on the entities. In this game mode, your mission is no longer just to survive – it is to capture. Experience procedural generation where layouts shift, biomass grows, and darkness increases as you progress, ensuring no two runs are alike.

• Utilize 5 specialized gadgets including Radars, Decoys, Sensors, and the Stopping Shocker to track and trap your prey .

• Adapt to changing conditions like the temperature variation mechanic that affects your survival strategy.

Your survival hinges on collaboration. You cannot make it alone. Use proximity voice chat to share discoveries, warn teammates of lurking dangers, and plan your next move in real-time. Work as a unit to lure entities into traps or solve environmental puzzles. Whether you are baiting the Smiler or watching your friend’s back in the dark, every role matters.

Are you the hunter, or the hunted? Enter the Backrooms and find out.
